This rustic old fish shack has been around for a long time. Such a fun to paint this scene.
Quiet time with sun, winds, sand dunes, scrub pine, and a beach shack for the ultimate solitude. These shacks can be rented (in spring, summer and fall for artists or writers. Time to create.

Just got featured in the Harwich Magazine from The Chamber…
Art From the Heart
On this horse farm was a beautiful horse that just watched me paint him in his lush setting.
This farm was so animal/human friendly, while I was painting this horse, others were walking all around me. The warm summer day, the smell of hay and green grass, completed a great plein air experience.
How could you resist those eyes?
Paint this little kitten was a fun lesson in fur and cat eyes.
Still life are so interesting and challenging to paint. Red Wine, yellow lemons, and glass.
Some tools of the trade
Olivia wanted some watercolors for Christmas, but how does one work with a new medium?
It was my pleasure teaching her to work with her new paints.
The challenge for her was to keep her supplies away from her 4 year old brother… who of course want to help….
She then, being the big sister taught her little brother to paint too.
And that’s how to open the eyes to the wonder of ART.
Fall on Cape Cod is beautiful, quieter times for cool refreshing weather rolling in and fall leaves changing. These breezes speak to me through the trees .
A time when one goes strolling down the trail listening to the birds coming and going.
The sounds of nature and the change in seasons brings joy to me.
Surprisingly enough one of the Many Monday’s that I was showing at Art in the Park was such a surprise…
This painting was done way before I had set eyes on this little man. He was so mesmerized at this painting, as I was at his reflection of the painting.
